We want you to feel confident in every Royal Equine Accessories purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, in line with UK consumer regulations.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:

Unworn, unwashed, and unused

In their original condition

With all tags and packaging intact
Items returned in a worn or damaged condition may not be accepted.
To start a return, please contact us at lauren@royalequine.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. We’ll guide you through the next steps.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.
If approved:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
Exchanges
If you’d like a different size or colour, we recommend returning your item for a refund and placing a new order to ensure availability.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
In the unlikely event that your item arrives faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos. We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund, including return postage.

European Union Right of Cancellation
If you are a consumer located within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your contract with us within 14 days, without giving any reason.
Cancellation Period
The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods.
How to Exercise Your Right of Cancellation
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (for example, by email).
You may use the following wording, although it is not obligatory:
I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale for the following goods: [insert item], ordered on [insert date] and received on [insert date].

Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you for the products returned, excluding delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive the returned goods.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Return of Goods
You must return the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation to us.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

We reserve the right to withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received and inspected.
Deductions for Diminished Value
You may be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
